SEASON 2007-08 ALMOST HERE


The season is almost upon us. The plans for the first few weeks are as follows:

August 25th          Nick Collins Memorial Game v Thames Valley Police
September 1st        Grasshoppers Trial Games (1sts and 2nds) AWAY

September 8th     LEAGUE GAMES START:
            1st XV v Farnham Royal AWAY
            2nd XV v Drifters 2s HOME

September 15th    1st XV v Oxford HOME
            2nd XV v Windsor 3s HOME
            3rd XV v Old Isleworthians 2s AWAY

Posters for the game and Family Fun Day will be going out in the High Street this week. Please
bring all familiy and friends to make this a really successful day.
I am also hoping there will be an article in the local press this weekend - if I got it in on time

JERRY'S WORLD CUP LUCKY DIP TO BEGIN!

Jerry is now selling tickets for the World Cup Lucky Dip.
He has sealed envelopes with each of the World Cup teams in them.
You pay £2.50 and you get to choose an envelope and write your name on it. At the end of the World
Cup, the envelopes are opened, and the person with New Zealand (sorry, whoever wins the World Cup)
wins £50 cash.

Jerry will be selling tickets at the Nick Collins game on the 25th and at the club the weekend
after.

CHAMPAGNE FOR SALE!

Nigel Barton has a case of 12 half-bottles of Champagne, "Lanson's Black Label" for sale.
They would retail at over £150 for the lot, but Nigel will take £100.
